Quality Inspector (Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation)

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that all incoming materials, spare parts and consumables meet the required purchase specifications, engineering drawings and international standards. You will act as the first line of defence for product quality, collaborating closely with procurement, warehouse, engineering and end‑user teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming items to verify compliance with specifications, drawings and standards such as ISO, BS, DIN and BIS.
• Review and validate inspection certificates, test reports, calibration certificates and other supplier documentation.
• Identify, document and report non‑conforming materials, coordinating corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support warehouse material verification activities.
• Ensure timely updates in the ERP system for traceability and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aluminium, oil & gas, steel, metal manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection practices aligned with recognized international standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (MM and/or QI modules).
