Regional Manager – Southwest Asia

About the role

Intrepid GS is looking for a Regional Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations and contract management for its Southwest Asia portfolio, based in Qatar. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role ensures high‑quality service delivery, customer satisfaction and compliance across engineering, facilities and support services while contributing to business development in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at all Southwest Asia sites, guaranteeing performance standards, schedules and customer expectations are met.
• Serve as primary on‑site contact for government customers, building relationships and resolving issues proactively.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare operational reports and flag risks to senior leadership.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor performance, contract compliance and issue resolution.
• Strengthen local supply‑chain networks to secure reliable material, equipment and services.
• Support staffing, scheduling and resource planning for engineering, facilities and support functions.
• Assist with contract administration, scope tracking, modifications, FAR/DFARS compliance and audit readiness.
• Provide market intelligence and support capture activities to drive new business opportunities in Southwest Asia.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven site‑leadership experience in engineering, facilities or base support services.
• Demonstrated success managing customer, vendor and supply‑chain relationships.
• Familiarity with government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS).
