Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking will be responsible for managing an allocated corporate banking portfolio, while actively seeking to expand the book of business through new client acquisition and cross‑selling of the bank’s products and services. The role aims to meet financial objectives by aligning credit facilities with the bank’s risk appetite and profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and regularly review the assigned corporate banking portfolio, recommending appropriate credit facilities in line with the relationship strategy.
• Identify new prospects, segment target markets and pursue growth opportunities, including syndication and structured financing transactions.
• Develop vertical and horizontal relationships within client groups, cross‑selling products from other business divisions.
• Conduct external control follow‑ups such as client calls, field visits, documentation reviews and payment regularizations.
• Coordinate internal controls, including credit reviews, documentation processes, and policy updates to reflect business conditions.
• Prepare term sheets, financial models, risk rating modules and profitability reports for new credit proposals.
• Collaborate with various bank divisions to deliver structured solutions and stay updated on market, regulatory and competitive developments.

Required profile

• Strong relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid credit analysis capability with experience in credit assessment and presentation.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and proven credit experience.
• Proficiency in financial spreading, modeling and preparation of credit proposals.
