Research Fellow – CILE

About the role

The Research Fellow will join the Centre for Integrated Learning and Education (CILE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University to conduct and support research projects. The role involves managing all phases of research, from design through data collection to reporting, while ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on assigned projects, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and timely status reporting.
• Design and implement research survey methodologies, including fieldwork, interviews, and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Collect, record, and analyse data from multiple sources; prepare graphs, tables, and interpret results for publications and presentations.
• Perform literature searches, reference collection, and maintain repositories of research topics, records, policies and related documents.
• Develop and manage databases that support research activities and supervise fieldwork operations.
• Prepare proposals for external funding agencies and assist in publishing peer‑reviewed papers.
• Maintain updated progress reports, participate in scientific gatherings, and help organise seminars and conferences.
• Provide training on research tools and techniques to entry‑level researchers, graduate students, and support staff.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of full‑time research experience with a proven record of related work.
• Professional knowledge of technical principles, theories and research methodologies.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and produce high‑quality written reports.
• Excellent writing skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
