Revenue Protection & Fraud Prevention Specialist

About the role

Snoonu is looking for a Revenue Protection & Fraud Prevention Specialist to safeguard the business against financial fraud and revenue leakage across its markets.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate bank‑flagged fraud alerts and drive each case to resolution.
• Build monitoring and detection capabilities for app‑functionality abuse such as promo stacking, referral fraud, wallet top‑up fraud, cancelled‑order compensation abuse and refund fraud.
• Identify and close revenue data gaps by partnering with Technical and Product teams to fix integration blind spots between BigQuery/AMS and ERP.
• Serve as primary liaison with banks, payment partners and regulatory bodies on fraud and financial‑crime matters.
• Design and implement rules‑based and analytical controls (thresholds, anomaly flags, velocity checks) to prevent fraudulent transactions before processing.
• Lead end‑to‑end case investigations, gather evidence and produce reports for management, Legal and external stakeholders.
• Advise Product and Engineering on fraud risk of new features and promotions before launch.
• Maintain a fraud and revenue‑leakage register, track trends and report financial exposure to Finance leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Criminology or related field; fraud or risk certification (CFE, CAMS) is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) for communication with banks, authorities and Arabic‑speaking customers or merchants.
• 4–6 years of experience in fraud investigation, risk management or revenue assurance, preferably in fintech, e‑commerce, banking or marketplace environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to investigate complex cases, gather evidence and produce defensible findings.
• Knowledge of banking fraud typologies, chargebacks and money‑laundering red flags.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal and external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, discretion and judgment when handling sensitive investigations.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced, high‑growth, multi‑country environment where controls are still maturing.
