Ride Technician

About the role

The Ride Technician ensures that all waterpark rides and attractions operate safely and reliably. Working on a busy multi‑inclusive resort, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling equipment to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides and related equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and waterpark standards.
• Diagnose faults, identify maintenance risks, and execute emergency repairs promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic records of all maintenance activities.
• Manage inventory, prepare purchase orders for required parts and supplies.
• Participate in an on‑call program, responding by phone and on‑site as needed.
• Report hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately.
• Facilitate effective communication between the engineering department and other waterpark teams.

Required profile

• Secondary/high school education with a qualification in a trade or engineering/maintenance discipline.
• Good proficiency in English.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and ability to use a Building Management System (BMS).
