Rigger – Full‑time position in Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Rigger to operate and set up lifting equipment on our projects in Qatar. The role involves assembling rigging gear, inspecting loads, and ensuring safety during operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up cranes, pulleys, winches, and hoists.
• Assemble and install rigging gear such as cables, ropes, and clamps.
• Inspect and prepare loads for lifting, securing them with slings, chains, or ropes.
• Attach loads to rigging equipment and align, level, and anchor machinery after placement.
• Conduct risk assessments and follow strict safety protocols.
• Inspect rigging equipment before and after use and ensure safety of team members and bystanders.
• Dismantle and store equipment properly after use while maintaining communication with site manager and foreman.

Required profile

• Highschool Diploma.
• Proficient in English (reading and writing).
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• Broad expertise in operation and application of lifting equipment and rigging gear.
• 5–10 years of Oil and Gas experience within GCC countries with relevant certificates.
