Risk Management Specialist

About the role

The Risk Management Specialist works within the Project Control function to lead the end‑to‑end risk management process for EPC and oil‑&‑gas projects. You will coordinate risk identification, assessment, response planning and reporting, ensuring risks are reflected in schedule, cost forecasts and contingency plans.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate risk identification workshops across all project phases and maintain an up‑to‑date Risk Register.
• Conduct qualitative scoring and support quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations for schedule and cost.
• Work with risk owners to develop, track and close mitigation actions, escalating overdue items as needed.
• Integrate risk data with planning, cost control and change management processes and produce regular risk reports and heat‑maps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field with 4‑6 years of project controls or risk management experience, preferably on EPC/oil‑&‑gas projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000 or PMI risk standards; professional certification (PMI‑RMP, APM, IRM) is a plus.
