RMC Supervisor

About the role

The Roads Management Centre (RMC) Supervisor leads the 24/7 operations that keep Qatar’s road network safe and efficient. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee traffic, ITS, and tunnel control rooms, ensuring compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements and Egis‑QBC JV policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all RMC activities during assigned shifts, guaranteeing continuous traffic flow and tunnel safety.
• Provide direct guidance to RMC Team Leaders and Operators, managing staffing levels and workload distribution.
• Act as senior operational authority during incidents, emergencies, severe weather, and major planned events, following the approved escalation matrix.
• Authorize, monitor, and withdraw traffic management response plans, including diversions, lane closures, speed controls, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Lane Control Signals (LCS).
• Maintain situational awareness via CCTV, OMNIA/ATMS, SCATS, Tunnel Management Systems, and other operational platforms.
• Track performance against SLAs and KPIs, implementing corrective actions to meet response‑time and journey‑time targets.
• Ensure accurate, audit‑ready operational records, incident logs, reports and shift documentation.
