Rotating Equipment Engineer – India Recruitment Event

About the role

This position supports the safe operation and maintenance of rotating equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors and pumps at on‑shore facilities. The role is part of a recruitment campaign in India for candidates who will be invited to an in‑person interview.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and guide asset maintenance teams on rotating‑equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for LNG plants.
• Plan and execute major planned and unplanned jobs during shutdowns, including gas & steam turbines and compressors.
• Coordinate with shutdown planning, ensure material, tool and spare verification, and maintain quality control of mechanical jobs.
• Prepare documentation such as job cards, JSA, and quality checklists for turbine and compressor work.
• Monitor spare availability, raise EMOC for upgrades, and support Management of Change studies.
• Participate in RCFA, risk assessments, HAZOP studies and provide technical data.
• Lead repair and refurbishment of critical components (rotor, DGS, seal bearing) and coach technicians.
• Assist senior engineers with contract preparation, roadmap implementation and innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related science.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Hands‑on experience with overhauling and troubleshooting rotating equipment.
• Familiarity with gas turbine, steam turbine, compressor and pump auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of company, national and international standards and specifications.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance activities.
