Safety Officer – Construction & Civil Projects

About the role

The company is looking for a Safety Officer to support construction and civil projects in Doha. The role focuses on implementing HSE standards, conducting inspections and delivering safety training to ensure a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HSE standards across construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction activities.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers.
• Maintain HSE documentation and records.
• Support risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Permit‑to‑Work processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• At least 1 year of proven experience as a Safety Officer on construction and civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Good understanding of risk assessment, JSA, toolbox talks, site inspections and incident reporting.
• Excellent communication, coordination and site‑monitoring abilities.
• Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
