Sales Executive

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to join its Sales & Marketing team in Doha. The role focuses on driving revenue through guest engagement, up‑selling, and loyalty program management while maintaining the high standards of the Marriott brand.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Apply sales techniques that maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts.
• Process Marriott Rewards points redemption, reservations, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards data into the designated software system.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Provide courteous guest service, anticipate needs, and ensure a positive experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in sales or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
