Sales Manager (Hotel)

About the role

As a Sales Manager you will bring passion, energy and commercial expertise to every interaction, building strong relationships and creating new business opportunities that drive hotel revenue. You will identify and secure business across key market segments while delivering exceptional service to clients and ensuring unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, government entities and key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue across room sales, meetings, events and group business.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections and client meetings.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiate contracts and rates in line with hotel revenue objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Operations teams to maximise sales performance.
• Participate in trade shows, networking events and sales missions to promote the hotel.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and action plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Support the successful launch and positioning of the hotel during the pre‑opening phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager or similar commercial role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong negotiation, networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the Qatar market and established industry contacts (advantage).
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• A results‑driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
