Sales Manager – Waxes & Petroleum Jelly

About the role

PetroWhite Alpha, a leading manufacturer of specialty petroleum products, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth of its Waxes and Petroleum Jelly portfolio in local and international markets. The role focuses on developing industrial customers, managing key accounts, and expanding sales across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers in regional and international markets.
• Manage existing key accounts and strengthen long‑term customer relationships.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and close sales opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Coordinate closely with production, logistics, laboratory, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor forecasts, pricing, inventory, and customer requirements.
• Follow up on customer payments and overdue accounts.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and international exhibitions.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, visit reports, and management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Waxes and Petroleum Jelly (PJ).
• Hands‑on experience selling paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, petroleum jelly, or related specialty petroleum products.
• Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
• Experience handling industrial customers and distributors.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
