Sales Specialist – Showroom

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Sales Specialist to join our showroom team, focusing on fabrics and furniture. The role combines deep product expertise with exceptional customer service to guide clients from consultation through purchase, driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, including designers and architects.
• Demonstrate fabric and furniture products, explaining features, benefits, care instructions and durability.
• Assess customer needs, propose tailored solutions, present quotes and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM, log interactions and follow up to secure conversions.
• Collaborate with merchandising and design teams to present product ranges in an appealing showroom layout.
• Process orders, coordinate deliveries and monitor fulfillment to ensure on‑time, accurate execution.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
• Stay informed about industry trends and new fabric collections to provide expert guidance.
• Participate in promotions, events and product trainings, upholding showroom standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of retail sales experience; experience in fabrics, textiles, upholstery or furniture is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and active listening skills.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear recommendations and structured quotes.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple clients in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings for events or key promotions.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or related certification is a plus.
