Secondary Economics & Business Teacher (KS4‑KS5)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Economics and Business Teacher for Key Stages 4‑5 to join our vibrant Secondary School in Doha for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum, inspire students and contribute to our goal of becoming the world’s best international school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Economics and Business lessons for KS4‑KS5 students.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative methods.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to curriculum development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support school initiatives.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as needed.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified teacher with a bachelor’s degree and PGCE from a reputable UK university.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of assessment principles and practices.
• Enthusiastic, creative and committed to professional development.
• Team‑player willing to go the extra mile for student success.

Required skills

• Understanding of the English National Curriculum for Economics and Business.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering assessments.
