About the role
We are seeking an experienced Secondary English Teacher to join a high‑achieving British Curriculum school in Doha for the upcoming academic year. The role involves delivering the National Curriculum of England to secondary students up to A‑Level.
Key responsibilities
- Teach secondary English classes following the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, resources and assessments for A‑Level students.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve academic targets.
- Collaborate with an expatriate teaching team and contribute to school initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree and PGCE obtained in the UK or Ireland.
- Proven experience teaching English up to A‑Level in British secondary schools.
- Experience within British schools in the UK or Ireland.
- Open to single or married applicants without dependents; not suitable for newly qualified teachers.
