Security Detection & Response Specialist

About the role

The Security Detection & Response Specialist will monitor, detect, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, protecting the bank’s digital assets and ensuring information system integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalous patterns and potential incidents.
• Respond promptly to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly CSOC reports.
• Create and fine‑tune use‑cases and alerts, perform health checks on CSOC tools, and ensure comprehensive log collection.
• Support configuration of security controls such as SIEM, anti‑virus, network security devices, PAM, DLP and vulnerability management solutions.
• Develop and update CSOC playbooks, conduct cyber drills, and communicate critical items to senior management.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in Security Operations or equivalent Information Technology roles.

Required skills

• SIEM administration and alert creation.
• Anti‑virus, network security devices, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Vulnerability Management tools.
• Incident response, root‑cause analysis and security reporting.
