Senior Accountant

About the role

QLife Pharma is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Doha, Qatar. This role centers on executing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial ledgers, and supporting reporting processes within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day general ledger accounting, transaction verification, and record maintenance.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end financial closing procedures, reconciliations, and reporting routines.
• Process and track accounting transactions using QuickBooks and Odoo ERP systems.
• Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Maintain complete financial documentation and enforce compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support month‑end reporting and financial analysis for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Must currently reside in Qatar and be immediately available.
• Hands‑on proficiency with QuickBooks, Odoo, and financial reporting software.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work independently.
