Senior Backend Engineer (New Services)

About the role

Snoonu is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build new backend services for its Super App platform. You will work with .NET Core 8 and a variety of databases to ensure high‑performance, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core 8, ensuring smooth integration with other system components.
• Optimize database performance in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB through query tuning and efficient data modeling.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and refactoring efforts to improve architecture, scalability and code quality.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration and performance tests and maintain high test coverage.
• Debug complex issues in production and development environments and support production deployments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of backend development experience, including at least 5 years with .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and gRPC, with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and non‑relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and distributed system concepts.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale projects and mentor junior developers.
