Senior Banking Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Banking Project Manager will lead strategic banking initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and reporting, establishing PMO frameworks.
• Coordinate consultants, vendors, business teams, IT, risk, compliance and operations, defining deliverables and facilitating steering committees.
• Oversee business requirements gathering, prioritisation, system testing, UAT, go‑live activities and product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, operational standards and regulatory requirements while identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5–6 years in a supervisory/project management role within banking or IT operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

• Home Banking, ATM Management Systems, Card Management Systems, Foreign Trade and Treasury products.
• Banking applications, payment systems, business requirements analysis, system testing and UAT.
• Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
