Senior CloudOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers Snoonu’s super‑app platform. You will work on large‑scale, distributed production systems in a multi‑account AWS environment, ensuring high availability, security and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts (Organizations, IAM, VPC, ECS, RDS, Secrets Manager).
• Manage container workloads using ECS (including EC2 capacity providers) and Kubernetes, handling task definitions, autoscaling and service reliability.
• Operate production databases (PostgreSQL and other relational/NoSQL stores), performing schema migrations, performance tuning and failover procedures.
• Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for multi‑team, multi‑environment delivery.
• Develop observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting) using Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana or OpenSearch, and optimise related costs.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or Pulumi, managing state, drift detection and multi‑account rollouts.
• Create automation tools and internal platforms in Python and/or Go.
• Ensure compliance with PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 by embedding controls into infrastructure.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, CloudOps or SRE roles.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with AWS services in production.
• Strong background in container orchestration (ECS and/or Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with CI/CD, observability stacks and IaC.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues and work under compliance frameworks.
