Senior Commercial Manager – Fit Out

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager – Fit Out to lead commercial and contractual activities for fit‑out projects in Doha. You will act as the primary commercial interface, ensuring financial control, contractual compliance, and successful delivery while supporting the client’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercial and contract administration, including procurement support, payment assessments, claims defence and compliance.
• Manage the full variation and change‑management process from identification through cost evaluation, negotiation and closure.
• Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, cost reporting and cash‑flow management, identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
• Serve as the main commercial liaison between clients, contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Prepare commercial reports, contractual correspondence, management updates and decision papers aligned with contract and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and enforce contractual compliance, maintaining transparent communication and documentation.
• Analyse commercial data and trends to provide actionable insights for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial and contract management for fit‑out or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, variation management and financial forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation and risk‑management skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise commercial documentation.
