Senior Communication Trainer – EU Policy Outreach

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Communication Trainer to support the EU’s outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role will design and deliver training programmes that strengthen the capacity of communication professionals and institutional partners to promote EU policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Facilitate capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Conduct interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants’ learning needs and adapt training content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes, prepare post‑training reports and recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, media or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering training seminars.
• Fluent in English and proficient in French and/or Arabic as relevant.

Required skills

• Facilitation and training design expertise.
• Strong knowledge of strategic and digital communication.
• Ability to develop training materials and evaluation reports.
