Senior Data Science Analyst

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Data Science Analyst to join its Flight Operations Support Services team in Doha. The role focuses on applying advanced analytical techniques to improve the efficiency of Flight Operations and Technical Operations (CAMO).

Key responsibilities

• Use data science, statistics, machine learning and optimization to enhance Flight Operations and CAMO analytics.
• Develop insights on on‑time performance, flight scheduling, predictive maintenance and operational cost impact.
• Deliver complex analyses in collaboration with Flight and Technical Operations teams.
• Lead data analysis to identify trends, make predictions and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Develop, deploy and prototype machine‑learning and optimization models.
• Leverage emerging tools, open‑source frameworks and cloud platforms such as Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Databricks.
• Utilise the Skywise platform where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research or Artificial Intelligence.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior analytical role.
