Senior Engineer - Cloud Platform

About the role

The Cloud Platform Engineer will design, implement, harden, test and maintain multi‑cloud solutions across Azure, Google and Oracle environments. Working closely with architects, delivery teams and vendors, the senior engineer will provide Level 3 support for Windows and Linux workloads and ensure high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and harden cloud services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) on Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using ARM templates, Terraform and automation scripts.
• Manage access privileges, security policies, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud networking, storage and compute resources.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architecture and vendor teams to deliver high‑level and low‑level designs.
• Provide Level 3 support for cloud, Windows and Linux workloads and oversee vendor tasks when required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with proven experience in multi‑cloud platform engineering.
• Strong background in automation, SRE practices and resource provisioning.
• Hands‑on experience with both Windows (Active Directory, Group Policies, LAPS, SCCM/WSUS, BitLocker, PKI/CA) and Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) environments.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
