Senior Engineer - Drainage

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Engineer – Drainage to join our Doha team. You will lead the design and execution of complex drainage systems for major infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and complete primary drainage system elements, adhering to Qatar building codes and MME standards.
• Gather, analyse and correlate engineering data, performing hydraulic calculations, modelling and testing to validate system performance.
• Identify discrepancies in results and propose analytical or innovative solutions.
• Manage project timelines and budgets with minimal supervision.
• Mentor entry‑level engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct site assessments, prepare design drawings, technical documentation and reports using CAD and industry‑standard tools.

Required profile

• Valid MME professional engineering registration/license and Qatar work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 + years of experience in drainage engineering or related infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in drainage system design, hydraulic modelling and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar building codes, regulations and local environmental standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Arabic.
