Senior Engineer - Java and Microservice Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java‑based microservices. You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver high‑performance solutions that support our clients across Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for performance, security, and reliability.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
