Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A & Commercial Finance

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead FP&A and commercial finance activities, providing insights to support strategic decisions and improve profitability across large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to support business strategy.
• Conduct variance, trend and performance analyses and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models for project performance, investment decisions and scenario planning.
• Monitor project financial performance, cost control, margins and profitability.
• Review project budgets, forecasts, actual costs and financial risks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including accruals, provisions and financial adjustments.
• Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and management presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with project, operations, procurement and commercial teams to collect and validate financial data.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and support initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A or commercial finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in project‑based financial analysis or cost‑control environments.
• Background in large‑scale construction, infrastructure, EPC or energy projects.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to develop financial models and analyse business scenarios.
• Solid understanding of month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
