Senior Financial Analyst (Qatarization)

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with commercial, technical, flight operations and inflight services teams to influence financial performance. You will drive the Delivering Sustainable Profitability (DSP) programme, identify cost‑saving and revenue opportunities, and ensure they are realised.

Key responsibilities

• Own a defined section of the P&L, analyse revenue and cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead the DSP agenda: build business cases for savings/revenue initiatives, embed benefits into forecasts and track realisation.
• Act as a trusted business partner across Qatar Executive’s commercial and operational areas, influencing decisions proactively.
• Define, monitor and steer key performance indicators that matter to the business.
• Challenge annual budgets and forecasts, test assumptions and protect margins by quantifying gaps.
• Develop and evaluate investment appraisals (NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity) and present clear recommendations.
• Review contracts for financial impact and flag risks.
• Prepare monthly and annual performance reports with insightful commentary.
• Present financial results and initiative updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dig into root causes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
