Senior HSE Manager

About the role

Responsible for leading and implementing health, safety, and environmental systems across oil & gas operations, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and strategies across projects and operations.
• Ensure compliance with oil & gas safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead process safety management activities such as HAZOP, HAZID and risk assessments.
• Oversee site safety during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
• Monitor and manage contractor HSE performance.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure environmental compliance including waste, emissions and spill control.
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain HSE standards.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote safety awareness and training across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE or a related field (NEBOSH/IOSH/ISO certifications preferred).
• 12+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas, including EPC projects and operational facilities.
• Strong exposure to construction and live plant environments.

Required skills

• Process safety management (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments).
• Knowledge of oil & gas safety standards (ISO, API, OSHA).
• Environmental compliance and waste management.
• Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Audits and inspections.
