Senior IT Project Manager – Systems Architect

About the role

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology projects in the financial services sector, preferably banking. The role demands strong governance, stakeholder and vendor management, and regulatory awareness across international environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, resources and delivery outcomes for medium to large‑scale IT projects.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, consultants and third‑party service providers.
• Work with senior management, business sponsors and technology teams within a structured governance framework.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on project management experience in financial services, preferably banking.
• Proven experience delivering projects in international, regional or multi‑country environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Required skills

• PMP certification (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, COBIT or PMI‑ACP (preferred).
