Senior Legal Advisor – International Energy & LNG

About the role

We are recruiting two senior legal advisors for a leading international energy organisation based in the Middle East. The positions focus on high‑value international energy, shipping and LNG transactions, offering the chance to work on complex cross‑border deals and influence strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on crude oil, refined products, LPG, LNG, shipping, marine and project finance transactions.
• Lead negotiations of LNG Sales & Purchase Agreements and other strategic energy contracts.
• Support senior commercial leaders with risk assessment, regulatory compliance and contract drafting.
• Collaborate with a global legal team to ensure consistent legal standards across all jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in the UK or USA with extensive experience in international energy and maritime law.
• Proven track record in LNG trading, shipping, or project finance transactions.
• Ability to work on expatriate, long‑term assignments in the Middle East.
