Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Estithmar Holding is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters. The role involves close partnership with business leaders to manage legal risks, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including procurement, consultancy, service, technology, licensing, partnership, real estate, and shareholder agreements.
• Provide legal advice to business units on operational, commercial, and strategic issues.
• Support corporate governance activities such as board resolutions, shareholder matters, corporate filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee legal matters for subsidiaries and affiliated entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external counsel on corporate transactions, company incorporations, restructuring, licensing, and compliance matters.
• Identify legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Support strategic projects, partnerships, joint ventures, and business expansion initiatives.
• Review corporate communications and business documentation to ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law within the GCC.
• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Sound knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Current residence in Qatar.
• Experience in large corporate groups, holding companies, or diversified business environments is preferred.
