Senior Loss Adjuster / Country Manager, Qatar

About the role

Complex Claims International, a multidisciplinary insurance claims and risk advisory firm built around chartered loss adjusting expertise, is looking for a Senior Loss Adjuster / Country Manager for its expanding team. The role is full-time and on-site in Doha, Qatar, covering complex technical claims in the construction, property and energy sectors, with the chance to take on office or country leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value claims investigations, assess policy coverage and evaluate loss scenarios, then recommend fair and defensible settlements.
• Oversee local claims operations in Qatar and manage client relationships.
• Mentor and supervise team members and prepare detailed reports and technical documentation.
• Support risk advisory engagements and represent the firm with insurers, brokers and insured parties.
• Coordinate with regional and global colleagues to keep quality consistent and support business development.

Required profile

• Strong track record in complex or major loss adjusting, with Chartered Loss Adjuster status or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in leadership or country management roles; Middle East experience is welcome but not essential.
• Degree in insurance, law, engineering, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Familiarity with the local insurance market in Qatar or the GCC, and willingness to work on-site in Doha.

Required skills

• Claims handling and management, including site inspections, loss quantification and settlement negotiations.
• Solid knowledge of insurance principles, especially in commercial and property lines.
• Analytical, report-writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Stakeholder management with insurers, brokers, corporate clients and regulators.
