Senior Manager / Director - Risk Consulting

About the role

As a Senior Manager or Director in EY’s Risk Consulting practice, you will lead the Energy sector portfolio across the MENA region, working with major national and international energy organisations to identify and manage strategic, operational, technology and regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex risk consulting engagements for energy clients, including oil & gas, utilities, renewable energy and power generation.
• Advise executive management on enterprise risk management, governance, internal controls, operational resilience and transformation initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth through account expansion, proposal development and new business opportunities across the Energy ecosystem.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing consulting teams across multiple EY offices in the MENA region.
• Support clients in managing enterprise risk, cyber security, regulatory compliance, ESG and digital transformation programmes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and governance practices within the Energy sector.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C‑suite executives and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent project and programme management capabilities with a commercial mindset.
• Leadership experience in building and developing multidisciplinary consulting teams.
• Effective communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
