Senior Manager, Tax & Legal Services - Accounting & Payroll

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Manager in its Tax & Legal Services line, within the Accounting & Payroll practice, based in Doha. Tax professionals advise clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, helping them navigate complex regulations and optimise their tax positions. In tax accounting services, you support businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct the team through complexity, showing composure in ambiguous, challenging and uncertain situations.
• Craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, and validate outcomes with clients while sharing alternative perspectives.
• Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels and make difficult decisions to resolve issues affecting team effectiveness.
• Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance, the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Develop and sustain high-performing, diverse and inclusive teams, and grow your expertise to stay relevant.

Required profile

• Ability to apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities.
• Experience leading teams and solving complex problems with increasing autonomy.
• Willingness to work visa sponsorship and government clearance.
