Senior Network Security Engineer

Penta Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead a high‑impact programme delivering secure, large‑scale network transformation across EMEA. The role is ideal for a professional with deep Cisco expertise who thrives in complex, enterprise environments and enjoys implementing cutting‑edge security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Cisco security solutions across enterprise networks.
• Lead and contribute to deployments of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control.
• Manage and optimise Cisco Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) and ASA firewalls, including policy and VPN configuration.
• Support migration, upgrade and transformation initiatives within network security.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across multi‑site infrastructures.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE (policy sets, profiling, posture, 802.1X).
• Extensive experience with Cisco FTD and ASA firewalls.
• Solid background in network security engineering within enterprise environments.
• Proven experience on migration or transformation programmes.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals such as routing, switching and TCP/IP.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
