Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to own end‑to‑end application delivery, web‑application firewall (WAF) and content/file threat protection. The role focuses on hands‑on management of Cloudflare and OPSWAT platforms while providing secondary support for Palo Alto, Fortigate and F5 solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Cloudflare environment for all onboarded domains, including DNS, WAF rules, rate‑limiting, custom hostnames, hostname/IP lists and lifecycle onboarding.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare SSO (Zero Trust/Access) applications and develop Cloudflare Workers for edge logic and security automation.
• Operate the OPSWAT file‑scanning platform, triage scan results and fine‑tune policies to minimise false positives.
• Provide administration and support for Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls, and for F5 LTM/WAF and GTM load‑balancing platforms.
• Monitor Cloudflare analytics and logs, perform root‑cause analysis of anomalies and keep documentation up to date.
• Coordinate change management with infrastructure and security teams for major configuration updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in application delivery, WAF and content security engineering.
• Primary, hands‑on expertise with Cloudflare and OPSWAT platforms.
• Secondary working knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortigate and F5 (LTM/WAF, GTM) solutions.
• Strong understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, Layer 4‑7 traffic management and file‑based threat triage.
