Senior Pilot Selection Assessor

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Pilot Selection Assessor to join its Flight Operations – Flight Deck Crew Recruitment & Selection team in Doha. You will provide expert support for the end‑to‑end recruitment and selection of pilots and flight‑deck crew, ensuring high‑quality assessments and compliance with airline standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an assigned number of open positions, managing interfaces with the recruitment team to meet time‑to‑hire and cost‑to‑hire targets.
• Coach hiring managers through the recruitment process and maintain strong relationships.
• Assess candidate competence, cultural fit and motivation to build a talent pipeline aligned with the annual resourcing plan.
• Organise and advertise recruitment campaigns, conduct interviews and follow best‑practice processes.
• Audit candidate data, track databases and generate weekly reports to ensure procedural compliance.
• Communicate accurate information to candidates via the Applicant Tracking System and email, reflecting policy updates.
• Champion adherence to Qatar Airways group policies throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in pilot or aviation recruitment, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulatory and operational requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) proficiency.
