Senior Piping Designer – Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our offshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high‑quality design documentation, developing 3D models and ensuring seamless integration with all engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop conceptual, FEED, and detailed design drawings of high technical quality.
• Create and maintain clash‑free 3D models, coordinating with all disciplines.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications, client procedures and agreed schedules.
• Identify scope changes, raise change notifications and support variation orders.
• Interface with other disciplines to obtain inputs, resolve technical queries and document decisions.
• Assist the Lead Designer in estimating work scope, schedules and man‑hour requirements.
• Participate in project kickoff, review meetings, vendor meetings and offshore site surveys.
• Maintain the discipline master drawing and document files, including final archiving.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience with a major contractor or consultant in the oil and gas sector.
• Offshore project experience is essential.
• High school diploma with a technical qualification in civil, electrical or mechanical design/drafting, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• 3D modeling for piping systems.
• Clash detection and resolution.

• Production of as‑built drawings.
