Senior Software Engineer – Oracle BRM, PDC, OCOMC & BI Publisher

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert with 8–10+ years of experience in Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), Pricing Design Center (PDC), Offline Mediation Controller (OCOMC) and BI Publisher. The role provides end‑to‑end ownership of billing, rating, pricing, mediation and reporting systems in complex telecom environments, ensuring revenue assurance and high system availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and support Oracle BRM 12.x/15.x environments, including rating, billing, invoicing, taxation and revenue assurance.
• Implement and maintain BRM customisations using opcodes, MTA applications, PCM C/PCM Java and Unix/Perl scripting.
• Manage the full pricing lifecycle with PDC, covering charge offers, discounts, bundles, tiered pricing and roaming models.
• Support BRM upgrades, cloud‑native deployments with Kubernetes and Helm, regression testing and production cut‑over.
• Troubleshoot rating, discounting, billing and reconciliation issues, performing root‑cause analysis for revenue‑impacting incidents.
• Design, configure and maintain OCOMC mediation flows for voice, SMS, data and roaming usage data.
• Develop OCOMC cartridges, node chains, parsing logic, transformations and error‑handling workflows.
• Monitor mediation pipelines to ensure accurate downstream processing into BRM and billing systems.
• Create and optimise enterprise reports using BI Publisher / Oracle Analytics Publisher, including scheduling and bursting.
• Collaborate on CI/CD, release management, version control and deployment processes across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of experience with Oracle BRM, PDC, OCOMC and BI Publisher in telecom billing environments.
• Strong understanding of telecom rating, mediation and revenue‑assurance processes.
• Experience with cloud‑native BRM deployments, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across BRM, PDC, OCOMC and reporting layers.
