Senior Software Engineer – Oracle BRM, PDC, OCOMC & BI Publisher

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Communications billing and revenue management solutions. The candidate will work on complex, production‑grade environments for a telecom client operating in Qatar/India, focusing on implementation, upgrades, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Oracle BRM 12.x/15.x components, including Opcodes, MTA applications, and scripting (Unix/Perl).
• Implement and maintain Pricing Design Center (PDC) and Offline Mediation Controller (OCOMC) configurations.
• Upgrade BSS applications (BRM, PDC, OCOMC, BI Publisher) to cloud‑native platforms using Helm charts and ensure seamless production cut‑over.
• Manage product catalog, billing cycles, and discount logic; troubleshoot rating and discount issues.
• Configure GLID, tax rules, and validate revenue assurance through SQL queries and mediation‑to‑billing reconciliation.
• Lead L2/L3 support, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure high availability of billing services.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in telecom billing systems, specifically Oracle BRM.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end implementations, upgrades, and production support.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret logs and system behavior.
