Senior Solution Architect - Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM

About the role

The employer is looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure, enterprise integration and modern cloud architectures. The role defines and oversees end-to-end solution architecture, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable and high-performing technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 CRM-based solutions.
• Design scalable and secure solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure and related Microsoft technologies.
• Lead technical architecture and design for new services, enhancements, integrations and transformation initiatives.
• Review existing architecture and identify opportunities for optimization, modernization and simplification.
• Design integration architecture between Dynamics 365, Databricks, enterprise applications, APIs, external systems and data platforms.
• Define API, integration, data flow, authentication and security architecture.
• Work with business analysts, developers, data architects, cybersecurity and infrastructure teams, and project managers.
• Review technical designs, architecture documents and integration specifications, and guide development and implementation teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, governance and architecture standards, and consider high availability, disaster recovery, performance and scalability.
• Take part in architecture review boards and technical decision-making.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience, with significant solution/enterprise architecture experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• A senior hands-on architect who can review implementations, challenge design decisions and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Preferred certifications: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF or equivalent.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse, including customization, security roles, workflows, plugins and APIs.
• Azure cloud architecture and enterprise integrations via APIs, REST, messaging and integration platforms.
• Data architecture and integration with CRM and data platforms; Databricks.
• Desirable: Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Power Platform, Power BI, Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, SSO, MFA, RBAC.
