Senior / Staff Data Engineer (BI) CEG Team

About the role

Agoda is looking for a Senior/Staff Data Engineer to join the Customer Experience Group (CEG). In this role you will design, build and maintain the data and software foundations that enable CEG business users to serve customers and agents across all contact channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, operate and optimise large‑scale data pipelines and ELT processes.
• Design scalable data models and internal tools that provide clear insights for product, operations and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with product, operations, workforce management, DevOps and engineering teams to ensure data reliability and performance.
• Maintain and evolve BI platforms and reporting solutions supporting customer experience initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong background in building and maintaining production‑grade data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with product, analytics and engineering stakeholders.
