Senior Sustainability Specialist – Doha

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Sustainability Specialist to join its growing sustainability team in Doha. The role will support high‑profile clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, delivering sustainability and net‑zero strategies throughout project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and assure sustainability and net‑zero strategies across projects, programmes and the asset lifecycle.
• Identify and secure business opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Build internal relationships with infrastructure, real‑estate and natural‑resources sectors, liaising with Project Managers and Commission Leads.
• Embed sustainability principles into all aspects of project delivery.
• Collaborate with Commission Leads and sustainability subject‑matter experts to produce technical solutions that meet client requirements.
• Support effective project delivery, performance targets and technical capability development.
• Contribute to client engagement activities and bid development for sustainability and net‑zero services.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Turner & Townsend’s corporate responsibility and net‑zero strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as environmental science, engineering or sustainability.
• Member of a recognised professional institution; sustainability certification is desirable.
• Proven experience delivering sustainability or net‑zero services in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and asset‑lifecycle considerations.
