Senior Training Officer – Ground Services

About the role

The Senior Training Officer for Ground Services will design, develop and deliver training programmes that support employee excellence across the hub and network. You will work closely with HR, T&D and operational teams to identify gaps and create curricula aligned with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis and research to ensure up‑to‑date content.
• Develop and present training materials in the approved Levels 1‑3 format, covering both soft and technical skills.
• Enhance existing programmes in partnership with line staff and facilitators.
• Prepare management‑review materials and host new training program launches.
• Provide post‑course feedback, assessments and incident reporting.
• Perform on‑floor observations, document findings and discuss improvements with the Manager, Training Delivery & Compliance.
• Maintain hard and electronic training records, attendance and assessment files.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in ground services or airport operations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and organisational abilities.
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
