Senior Treasury Back Office Analyst

About the role

The Senior Treasury Back Office Analyst will lead Treasury Back Office Operations, reporting and settlement of financing deals for QatarEnergy Group. The role also serves as the main contact for internal, external and state audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise cash and inter‑bank transfers, ensuring all payment requests are approved and executed on time.
• Oversee Treasury instrument flows (cash, loans, investments, borrowings) to guarantee IFRS‑compliant financial reporting.
• Manage bank statement uploads into SAP, clear outstanding items and produce KPI dashboards within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain Treasury‑related master data in SAP for new companies, banking relationships and counterparties.
• Coordinate business continuity planning for Treasury operations, mitigating risks from system outages or disasters.
• Lead periodic audit reviews and ensure compliance with QatarEnergy policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in accounting/finance within a medium to large organization, preferably in oil & gas.
• Strong people‑management, leadership and coaching abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or Accounting and a professional qualification (CPA, CA, CMA, etc.).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS PowerBI.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Experience with SAP TRM or similar ERP systems.
