Senior Well Integrity Engineer

About the role

The Senior Well Integrity Engineer is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of more than 550 wells across 21 platforms, ensuring compliance with NOC policies, industry standards and best practices throughout the well life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze integrity of over 550 wells across 21 platforms, ensuring compliance with NOC Well Integrity Management System and API standards.
• Maintain the Well Integrity Surveillance System (WISS) and related dashboards, track well casing pressure trends, caliper data and well failure models.
• Coordinate with drilling, subsurface, field operations and intervention teams to plan and execute integrity‑related activities such as surveillance, tubing investigations and pressure bleed‑offs.
• Lead operational risk assessments, prepare DGS forms for well failures and provide technical assistance to field crews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• IWCF Level 4 certification (Well Intervention or Drilling).
• Minimum 10 years of oilfield experience with at least 2 years offshore, covering well integrity, well failure modelling and API standards.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Well Integrity Management System (WISS) operation and maintenance.
• Well integrity software and well failure modelling tools.
• Analysis of well casing pressure, MAASP, tubing leak rate and burst/collapse calculations.
• Knowledge of API standards, annulus and corrosion management.
• Proficiency with SAP notifications and data reporting.
