Shift Operator (PP) – Carbon Plant

About the role

The Shift Operator (PP) works within the Carbon Plant to support Qatalum’s production objectives, ensuring safe and efficient operations during assigned shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all operational procedures and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Generate or assist in the generation of departmental reports as requested by management.
• Comply with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and keep work areas clean and tidy.
• Support continuous improvement by providing input on best practices and international standards.
• Assist in the development and training of national employees (Qatarization).
• Contribute to shift and daily KPI/PI targets to meet production goals.
• Help introduce new tools, technologies and work routines to improve efficiency.
• Perform first‑line maintenance on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions for repair or replacement.

Required profile

• High School Diploma and a valid GCC driving licence.
• Minimum three years of experience in carbon plant operations.
• Position offered only to candidates holding Bachelor status.
